Ref for King Seren of the Hidden Continent Roleplay by @EagleRise110 --------------------King Serendibite--------------------- Description: King Serendibite, though he prefers to be called King Seren, was the king of the GemWings and is currently fifty-four (Human Years). He is a loyal and kind-hearted person with strong morals and loyalty, betrayal is the highest insult. He has a high emphasis on education, and ensured all of his children were trained in both academics and althetics. However, despite his sunny exterior to his citizens and family, his enemies are shown no mercy, as he is a strategic and strong fighter. His wrath is not to be easily inflicted. He is very formal, and requires all (save for his wife and children) to address him by "Your Grace", as well as his full title. He is a well-revered king, a strong speaker and leader, however, he is not as adept at the more hurtful signs of war, and can be quite cruel. He relies on his wife, Queen Crystalline for her negotiation skills and strong relationship with the public. He is muscular and considered handsome for a dragon. He has a strong family bond, save for his youngest child, King Obsidian, whom he never connected with. Abilities: King Seren has the standard GemWing abilities, including -Crystal-breath, which encases anything it comes in contact with in crystals. Though it make take him longer to recharge, he has a famous fighting style, named after him, in which he uses his crystal-breath many times in short spans, to conserve energy, and preserve efficiency -Fire-breathing -Adjustable Glowing Scales -Underwater breathing (6+ hours) -Crystallokinesis (Can create crystals in hand) Although most Gemwings have night vision, due to his eye injury. His Personal Abilities Include: Strength, Speed, and Endurance, as well as the ability to stay calm under pressure. Backstory: He was raised in a royal family with a twin brother and an older sister. His father was an important financial advisor to King Peridot, so he often visited the royal palace and grew up as friends with Queen Crystalline's siblings, and later, Queen Crystalline. When he was about seventeen in human years, one of his father's rivals burned their home, k1lling Serendibites mother, father, and siblings in the process. King Peridot let him move into the royal palace, into a room across from Crystallines. He and she soon became close friends, and later, were married, despite their significant gap in age. He admired her generosity and gracefulness, as she showed strength and ferocity at the same time. Talents: Serendibites talents include public speaking and sparring, however, he also has an incredible talent in science, and has made more discoveries than any royal before him. Reading is a talent of his, as is swimming, as he enjoys swimming with his wife. Hobbies: He, as mentioned earlier, is an advanced scientist and reader, and along with his duties, these take up most of his time. However, when he is free, he enjoys cleaning and organization, as well as cooking. Dislikes: He despises disloyalty, and as of late, his third child. He dislikes dishonest people greatly, as well as the rogues. Likes: His wife. like a lot XD he loves his first two children greatly, as well as making new discoveries and finding new books ( he has read over 2000 volumes)
