pov shuyu i was just sitting there alone , watching as this crazy lady player 044 just prays to her gods . oh , what a hypocrite ... i never thought anyone would come to me ... until this girl player 067 comes . she asked , "hey, would you like to join us." i nodded without saying anything. can i trust her? is she one of those praying hypocrites? i thought as she took me to her team : yura ( player 096 ) , chae ( player 333 ) and dani ( player 246 ) . she still didn't say her name ... i wondered ... what even is it ? i looked over at another team ... player 095 , 120 , 007 , 149 , and that crazy praying lady . man, i feel horrible for the others . we chose our respective games before we watched the first two teams : bella , cia , amaranth , aera choi , and aeyra and another team including player 198 ( ace ) . i watched as ace failed the flying stone game so much that the whole team ran out of times . both teams were gunned down . ten bodies dropped immediately . pov miri it was our turn . b-but there was no way i can do ddakji . we're screwed ... we walked through the rainbow paths . it was my turn . i lifted the paper as high as possible and slammed it down . nothing happened . the circle guard used the x gesture multiple times . until i heard her . elena . my unnie . she said, "miri, flip the blue paper. it will work, trust me." and so i did. i slammed it down and bam . the red paper flipped . the circle guard indicated our pass to the next round . aezrielle and mi-cha cleared their respective games , flying stone and gonggi , quickly . my eyes gleamed with hope , until that crazy shaman lady started praying . thankfully , elena grabs the spinning top and almost stabs the lady . she finally passes the game it was all up to elena . she was our last hope to survive . she kicked the jegi . one ... i can feel her stress in her mind about her life. two , three , four . please don't mess up ... unnie ... you can do this, i thought . and five . we had passed the game . the timer ticked and just as it hit one second, we crossed the finish line . i watched in horror as the other team was gunned down and collapsed . "player 222, please cast your vote." yoona. i knew she was going to press x. she looked over at us before pressing the x button. "player 230, please cast your vote." thea jumped over to the voting buttons before pressing the o buttons and doing her usual dance. "player 240, please cast your vote." o. "player 333, please cast your vote." it was finally my turn. i looked at yoona with a face of regret. no way i chose money over her, my pregnant ex girlfriend. i pressed the x button before ripping out the o badge and sticking the x badge onto my tracksuit. "player 380, please cast your vote." ine looked like she just wanted to get out of this place. but hika had forced her to press the o button again... so she did with a almost...regretful expression?
