for those not in the loop: A. DST's name has been changed to Russ Static (Russ as in the name of the mushroom, and Static for a tv pun: 'rough static') B: there are TWO universes I'm writing for my characters for, and they're both very different from each other. The SSO universe is the one everyone is used to, filled to the bring with the colorful cast of characters that I've created over the years. (Also the universe where that RPG maker game takes place...) Basically, in that universe, Sinc is just some random dude that exists, like a cartoon character, and goes on adventures full of wonder and whimsy!!! In the Realistic Universe, there is no easter bunny, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no colorful cast of characters. In this universe, Sinc is the result of a grueling and horrific set of genetic experiments. Born of a genetic mix of a mushroom, mass amounts of human DNA, and enough nuclear waste to kill an entire city, Sinc escapes the lab he was born in to live a life in solitude. I've been trying to write a book on the concept, but I've only got a single chapter done, with a whole bunch of stupid ideas rattling around in my brain. If that sounds interesting to you guys, lmk and I might make that a priority project (and share the first chapter)
