The world runs on a team of grown-up magic girls. The mc’s mom is their leader, and now needs the mc to start the next generation. Or… 2. Instead of hiding their identity, mc openly announces they are the magic girl. This goes right in a lot of ways. S.W.A.T teams could help the magic girl by distracting the monsters. And their ultimate move (A JOB) can be based on the literal “Everyone’s counting on me!” Kinda stuff. Bonus! 3. A willing magic girl. Instead of the “do or die” stuff, instead it goes (somewhat) like this: “Whoa, talking animal” “Ey wanna be a magical gorl” “Eh sure” … that’s all I had. Yeah. Lmk if you want to listen to my insane ramblings. Especially on the second one.
