Today is September 11. I would like to talk to you about the tragedies that happened on this day, 24 years ago (without being super depressing) So, on September 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked and deliberately crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower at the World Trade Center at 8:46 AM, killing all those inside the plane and everyone above the impact zone. Seventeen minutes later, at 9:03 AM, the same thing happened again with American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the South Tower, killing everyone inside as well as those above the impact zone. Both towers collapsed within an hour and 42 minutes. This act of terrorism is the deadliest in history, with 2,606 casualties from the World Trade Center and surrounding area. Among them, 414 were firefighters, trying to rescue people and put out the fires. September 11, 2001 affected thousands of families worldwide, and the United States that me and many of my friends live in is a consequence of that unfortunate day. I tried to recreate the twin towers in Minecraft as best as I could with the limited building skills I have as a memorial. The build took me four days. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
