Hello! Welcome to Virtual Pet (Bananers) For those of you who don't know what a virtual pet game is, it's a game where you have a pet online or on a electronic device, and the goal is that you have to help the pet survive. How to play (Basics): When you click the green flag, starting the game, you'll have to type in what you want to name your monkey. Then, you have started the game. On the top, you'll see the main statuses of the pet, which is Money (how much money you have to buy things), Hunger and Thirst (the amount of hunger and thirst the pet has), and Exercise (determines how healthy the pet is). Then you could choose to go to Statistics, the Kitchen, Outside Areas, and find a Job, by choosing the buttons corresponding to the place you want to go to. In Statistics Menu: In the Stats menu, you'll see how long you have played, and your pet's name. (I don't know what else to add to Stats) In Kitchen: In the kitchen, you will first see a fruit salad, a taco, and a glass of water. However, you could buy a banana, an orange, a muffin, and a cake. All of these foods listed raise your "Hunger/Thirst" bar. Fruit Salad - 3 Taco - 3.7 Water - 0.5 Orange (bought) - 0.5 Banana (bought) - 2.2 Cake (brought) - 4.5 Muffin (brought) - 2.5 In Money (Jobs) Menu: In the Jobs Menu, you will see jobs that you can do, in order to get money. You can choose to bake cakes at a local bakery, help a farmer pick apples from trees, work for someone at a computer, or play an arcade game that involves completing a maze. Baking Cakes (Job 1): Your job starts at a bakery, and 1 out of 4 ingredients for the cake appears on the monitor. Then you go to a maze, use your arrow keys to move around and get the ingredient. You will do this for all the ingredients. At the end, you will earn 35 dollars as a result. Picking Apples (Job 2): The job brings you to a very small field with 2 trees. Your challenge is to go and pick as many apples as you can until the AppleTimer™ (it's not trademark BTW) ends. The payout result depends on how much apples you pick. (The more apples, the better!) Take a job at a computer (Job 3): For this job, you will be transported to a library with a computer. You basically don't do anything, you wait until the timer's finished, and you get your payout. Also, don't be confused by the sounds the computer makes, it's a combination of the old AOL dial-up sounds, Windows XP sounds, and computer keyboard sounds. You will earn 15 dollars as a result. Go to a Contest (Job 4): You go to an arcade machine, and you are a monkey in maze. The challenge is to make your way to the end of the maze as fast as you can. The end will be located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. You will earn 35 dollars as a result. The Outside Areas Menu: In the Outside Areas Menu, you will have the opportunity to go to the local store, and the park. The park and store will be useful to you later. Store (Outside Area): The Store will supply you with many things. You can buy decor for your monkey, and food for your kitchen. Trumpet - Click the trumpet to play, when in monkey's hand. Monkey Figure - Click the monkey figurine in your monkey's ear to change it's stance. Sun - Click it to change color. Tree - Click the Apple that comes with the tree for it to fall down. B figure (B for Bananers) - Click it to change color. Park (Outside Area): The park gives you a drum cymbal, and a trampoline to raise your Exercise level up. The trampoline will raise by 3.3, while the cymbal raises by 2.1. Main Variables/Levels: The main variables for the game are: Money - How much money you have to buy supplies. Hunger/Thirst - How hungry or thirsty you are. Exercise - How healthy you are. Timers - Times games/jobs you participate in. ----------------------------------------------------
Paradise by Coldplay is playing when you start the game. Undertale Mettaton Music is playing when finished baking cakes. All backgrounds, and sprites, and sounds are from Scratch, made by me, or from the Internet (including the ingredients for cake, they were from Google!). --- I wanted to make this because I was inspired by Talking Tom, and other virtual pet games like that. I also wanted to upgrade my previous virtual pet game (Unshared). Please tell me if there's any bugs I need to fix. Thanks! View-Log: Nov 17 2016 - Project Shared Dec 5 2016 - 30 views
