Please Note: Polybiopoiesis (pronounced: pah-lee-bie-oh-poy-ee-sis) is made from poly, meaning many, bio, meaning life, and poiesis, meaning formation. Polybiopoiesis essentially means “many life formations.” Myccurineuron (pronounced: mie-cyur-ee-nue-ron) is made from myc, meaning fungus, curi, meaning care, and neuron, meaning neuron. Myccurineuron essentially means “fungal cure for the brain.”

To hopefully find others to listen to this? For all I know, I’m doing this just to stay remotely sane… Anyway, the Infection is a type of unidentified fungal species, which I have named Polybiopoiesis. I don’t currently know much about Polybiopoiesis, so I’ll need to find some Infected to test. I’ll do that on my way for supplies tomorrow.” “Log two, day three. I went to what remains of Bee’s party. I salvaged what I could of the technology there, and collected as many edibles as I could carry. There was no sign of Bee or Tex. I hope they’re okay…” “Log three, day six. From the remains of Bee’s party, I found five Infected. Two were Imps, and three were Hellhounds. I’ve managed to contain them there, and I’ll move my supplies from my current location to the specimens. I hate to do this, but… if there’s any hope of Hell recovering from the Polybiopoiesis, then I’ll have to experiment on the Infected.” ERROR: RECORDS [4, 5, 6] HAVE BEEN TERMINATED INFORMATION: ACCESSED AUDIO RECORDS: ACCESSED “Log seven, day thirty-nine. I’ve deleted the last three recordings due to my concern for the safety of everyone, within and without Hell. Specifically, the last three recordings explained how Polybiopoiesis merges and mutates animal cells. This recording was made primarily to explain why the previous three were unavailable, and I will explain more tomorrow. There’s… there’s a lot I need to process right now, and I’ll explain why in a few hours.” “Log eight, day thirty-nine. This recording will be primarily to explain what happened just before the previous recording. First, I was attempting to create a cure for Polybiopoiesis, or at least something to slow and/or stop the process of Infection. However, as soon as I put the chemicals in a syringe, one of the Hellhounds breached their containment chamber and began attacking me. Since I wasn’t prepared for the situation, the Hellhound got me, biting my arm and Infecting me. I could feel my heart stop as a new one grew in my chest, keeping me alive for the Infection to take hold—although, since my original heart had stopped, I was technically d3. I could feel my emotions and memories being stored away in a new part of my brain. Then, with my last bit of consciousness, I injected the chemicals into my bloodstream. Finally, just as I did, my vision faded to black as I fell unconscious. When I woke up two hours later, I could think, move, speak, and feel for myself—my mind was my own once again. However, the rest of my body had already become one with the Polybiopoiesis. I’ll discuss more on what else happened and what the aftermath is when I wake up sometime tomorrow. I haven’t gotten sleep in at least twenty-four hours.” “Log nine, day forty. This will be my final recording, and I will speak of the overview of what I have learned, as well as my plans for the near future. First of all, I’ll say everything I can on the matter of what I have learned, although most information will be left out due to the possibility of weaponizing Polybiopoiesis. A newly Infected will undergo a process of hyper-growth in their cells, which will cause cells to grow, reproduce, and d!3 at an incredibly fast rate. The cells will also be more likely to mutate during this process, and the Infected will be fully evolved when the process is over. However, the only thing that remains constant in an Infected is the brain, which grows a fungal part that absorbs and contains the brain’s ability to have memories as well as the brain’s ability to experience emotions. The second bit of information that I’m going to discuss is my cure, which I haves named Myccurineuron. Myccurineuron is a chemical compound that, when injected into an Infected’s bloodstream, will allow the false heart of the Infected to decay, and will allow the Infected’s memory and emotions to become functional before the fungal brain part decays as well. Once an Infected has Myccurineuron in their bloodstream, they will lose consciousness and, upon waking up, will be themselves once more. However, Myccurineuron is not able to reverse the effects that Polybiopoiesis has had on the body, meaning that any anatomical mutations will remain other than the false heart and fungal brain part. The last thing that I can say on this matter is the following: a Cured Infected will not be attacked by an Infected, since a special chemical is released from a Cured Infected that is identical to an Infected’s, and will trick an Infected into thinking the Cured Infected is an Infected. As for what I plan to do now… I’m going to broadcast this through any and all radios I come across. If anyone has survived this apocalyptic event, I would assume Alastor has.
