The cheat code to skip bosses is to spam the mouse on the main menu. Do that for now.
Guide: 1. Start killing as many slimes as you can 2. Get some twigs by hitting the bush 3. Cut down the corn, go to the crafting menu, and make a campfire 4. Kill ghosts and collect enough spectrite to upgrade your sickle 5. Kill the fringworm and make a wormwood post 6. Whenever you're ready, when you have 8 slime, make a pumplin decoy. The first boss will come to following day. 7. Make a fishing machine and put it in the pond. Give it a piece of the fringworm as bait. 8. Make a fish hat and put it on your head 9. Enter the pond and kill a bunch of crystals for gems. Don't hit the mysterious snail unless you feel ready. 10. Exit the pond and wait for the angry plants to come. Collect some fruit. 11. Upgrade your weapon and kill the mysterious snail for the second boss. 12. There are a couple more things but they don't matter. That's it. There are two cheat codes: one for invincibility, one for insta-kill for bosses. You have to enter them on the menu screen. You will be able to tell when one worked and they aren't impossible to guess. It'll let you know which one you have toggled on the loading screen.
