Hey gang, it is I. I have returned, but probably just for this. While you read, enjoy a slideshow of a few pictures I have taken in my 3 or so month hiatus. I graduated from high school in June, and since then, I've been putting pretty much all my effort into college. I am going into broadcasting, so I've been learning how to do stuff like that better. I think I'm doing okay, but I really have no idea. For college, I decided to stay in Indiana. Once a Hoosier, always a Hoosier, or something like that. I'm in train country, so I have increased my knowledge of trains, and have spotted a few Norfolk Southern heritage units (one pictured here) while here (yay!!). I really like the campus and most of the people (the mega racist isn't my favorite), and it's a really chill place to be. Very different to high school. My birthday came and went rather uneventfully last month, and I am now getting into the range of "I'm not supposed to be this old." A lot of my friends are either still in high school back home or in other faraway colleges, so I have had to rely on my friendmaking skills (they are not good) for the first time in a really long time. I miss my friends gang Classes are going okay. Nothing too eventful, except for my newswriting class that I thought would be an introduction to the world of newswriting but nope, day three (the first Friday of classes) we were given our first assignment. It was to write a story for the school paper. Keep in mind, I have never done a journalistic writing assignment before. But yup, now I gotta do that. Woohoo! (it isn't going well) But I'm enjoying my time here. I really like the freedom of college. The people are fun, the professors are more like peers than teachers (news of a possible fight (with aforementioned mega racist) spread, and one of the professors told me "I won't say anything unless it's in my area. Take it to the math department or something," so yea they chill), and the campus is walkable and has plenty of places to walk to. And a race track nearby, which is super awesome. I won't say much in the ways of politics as to not upset people, but it is something I am heavily invested in. However, I will say that g*n (no idea if that word is censored in the algorithm and I'm not risking this whole thing to test it) restrictions are necessary. There have been far too many incidents at schools in the past few years (including one at my own middle school) to warrant this level of inactivity. Thank you for reading all the way to the end. Have a wonderful day, say hi to someone new, do a random good thing for someone, and most importantly, stay safe out there. Good day to you all :)
