Harmony is being canceled. I definitely saw this coming after I didn't release a chapter for like a whole year, so here are the reasons: Reason 1: Procrastination I've been really busy for a while, and any time I think about making chapter 15, I realize I don't think I'm going to make it. I don't have the patience or even the time for this kind of thing anymore. That's why the chapters were only like 10 panels. I have no patience. After releasing this message, I am NOT going to finish Chapter 15 because there won't really be any heart or effort put in it. Chapter 14 will be the last made chapter of Harmony. Reason 2: Unsatisfaction I had the idea for Harmony long before I was even active on Scratch. It didn't even occur to me to start drawing it on Scratch until I had seen Scratch stories like Tales of Perfectheart(@9rainbowtails) and Eternal Apprentice(@MeadowFoot_ToPH). And when I started, I was really disappointed about what I was doing. The story wasn't like anything I had imagined, and I was focusing mainly on one arc. I forgot to work on arcs like Snowpaw and Birdsongpaw, which I was really excited about. I didn't even include half the cameos that people wanted in the story. Sorry about that. But I was disappointed because I didn't want to write about prophecies and StarClan stuff. I wanted to write about Snowpaw's funny relationship with her mentor and Birdsongpaw's DF training. But I didn't, and now I just don't think I can. And as a person who enjoys the fillers of a series more than the actual plot, I was just plain unsatisfied with the entire thing. Although I did have some good ideas for the later plot, so my original ideas for the story that never made it in to the Scratch version are in the Notes and Credits. Reason 3: Artistic Ability I'm pretty good at traditional art, but I eventually realized that digital art wasn't for me. It's difficult, and especially on Scratch since I don't use any drawing apps. Nothing I was drawing felt that good, which took a lot of elements and details I liked away from the story. I got tired of seeing the work I was doing turning out nothing like I imagined it, and eventually I just lost interest in the story altogether. Thank you guys for all your support! I may make another comic in the future, but it won't be Harmony. I will probably also release Moonstar's Promise, which I mentioned in some other projects, about Pearlpaw. So more Harmony content may be released. We'll see. I'm excited to see where I go next!
Harmony Ideas/Spoilers: 1. Leafpaw gives the prophecy to Snowpaw and Birdsongpaw and they all save the clans together. 2. Leafpaw and Pearlpaw are romantically involved. 3. Birdsongpaw's name came from his mother, Birdsong, who died when he was young. 4. Their full names were going to be Snowflight, Leafrustle, and Birdsongpaw was going to be renamed completely to Lightheart. 5. Leafrustle would have taken Pearlpaw to the moon pool to get her full name, which would have been Pearlshine. Thank you so much to all of you who supported Harmony!
