Reforming your country is a real challenge, with backwards religious groups and slaveowners ruling the country, you need to modernize your country in order to change your laws as you can no longer just say "we pass these laws". There will be setbacks, laws failing to pass and other political groups in your empire getting angry with you. Look at the Laws and your Demographics tab to see what laws are in place and what interest groups are strong. If you want to pass a law, make interest groups that support it stronger and interest groups that oppose it weaker. There are many layers to it, but ask me if you can pass a law first and I'll tell you if you can or if you need a certain condition to pass it. PLEASE look at your journal entry, it is dynamic and will evolve over time and give you rewards, buffs and objectives. Ask me questions if you are struggling. And be realistic at the start, we're in the medieval era. Note, Declared Interests. At the start of the game, you have only declared interests in where your country is.(Open declared interests) You can only interact with countries within 2 regions away or in the same continent as your capital. This is for realism. Once you get exploration up and running and discovered other countries via RP you can start declaring interests in other regions. Note, when building armies and a navy, you need to roleplay in who you are recruiting and the ratio of soldiers to seamen. Example: You have a group of soldiers that make up 5% of your population, 4% are in the army and 1% are in the navy, to simplify it (this is so when population grows your army size will increase in proportion to it) Countries @__Neutron__ - Han Dynasty @Ruadhan24 - Prussia @joeremastered - Egypt @Shadow_Panda100 - Norway - Novgorod - Byzantine Kingdom - Rajputs - Rome - English Kingdom - Joseon - Frankia - Muscovy - Bulgaria - Denmark - Ghana - Mongol Horde - South Germany - Luxembourg - Turkic Black Riders - Azerbaijan - Aksum - Gaelia
This is an alternate world roleplay, the real population size of this time has been modified to give players an equal start, with everyone starting off with extremely similar starting laws and similar population demographics. If you start off in a region not in Europe, you get a larger starting population, but the population demographics are the same.
