Yesterday was my first real marching band performance! It was a preview show, meaning every marching band in the entire county is there and we play our marching band to around 100 people. Then at the end of it we all come together and play a song together. I found a friend I met at All County last year I thought I would never see again, and I met two other people from another county. And gosh their marching band is strict. Anyway, my band instructor said that it was one of our best runs yet! And I always think “oh gosh I’ll be standing in front of 100+ people, I can’t do this” and then while performing I completely forget about the 100+ people. It was so fun! I loved seeing all the other marching bands too. One performance was about the fall of an emperor with a very long name. Their color guard was dressed in golden cloaks and it looked so cool
