(If this project is too scary/violent please let me know and I'll change it) approximately 11,600 people have passed away from gun violence in the U.S. this year. And approximately 3.09 million people died in the United States in 2023. May we keep all the faithfully departed in our prayers, even if we don't like the person. These are just a few people who have passed away this year from gun violence, and there are many more, and many other people who have passed away from other things. O merciful God, take pity on those souls who have no particular friends and intercessors to recommend them to Thee, who, either through the negligence of those who are alive, or through the length of time are forgotten by their friends and by all. Spare them, O Lord, and remember Thine own mercy, when others forget to appeal to it. Let not the souls which Thou hast created be parted from thee, their Creator. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
