The mother and kits escaped, but never saw the dad again. Soon, the mother came down with a s!ckness. She had heard of the Clans, so gathered her kits. "Listen here, little ones." The kits watched, f3arful and wide eyed, as the mother continued. "Follow the river until the trees thin out, then head to the beach. Shelter will be there." With one last longing glance back at their mother, the kits set off. -- All kits made it to Urchinclan safely, except for one... That one is dead. ------------------ Parenting styles: Pinefaith - Any pronouns but She/they/xe pref Fem presenting Pinefaith will be a distant, and sometimes even neglectful parent of the kits. It's not the she doesn't love the kits, but xe are so afraid of them dying, she avoids them. In her own way, they do show the kits some affection, but it is subtle and quietly expressed. She is a strong believer in the dark forest, and everything Urchinclan, and will try to get the kits to act the same. (when xe actually talks to them, anyways) Astermoth - He/him Masc presenting (I think?) [The following is written by @MischiefMistcat ] Astermoth will try to be a present parent, but ultimately fail, as he can't communicate with them. He will, however, make efforts to protect and watch them. When he joins the Dark Forest, Astermoth will make sure to dreamvisit them. ------------------ The kits: Songbirdkit || Loner name was Lyric || AFAB || 7 inches tall when fully grown || No research required A peach, cream, and jasmine kit slinks into the scene, curly wisps of fur framing her emerald eyes. Crosshatch patterns crisscross her legs and tail, paired with swaths of dull pink. Soft, pastel yellow accents complete her colouring. Lapiskit || Loner name was Silvin || AMAB || 9 inches tall when fully grown || No research required With a pelt of navy blue and black tones, a tom-cat steps out to join his sister. He sports eyes a faded amber that contrasts sharply with his spiky fur; arrayed with black markings like shards of ice, and strange patterns of lighter blue loops, lines and diamonds. ------------------ Rules: 1. Please be respectful, and do not discriminate against anyone, for any reason. 2. Read the generations rules. You can find them in the roleplay clan studio's descriptions. If you're new to gens, I strongly suggest asking one of the OORP chats for info on roleplaying and how gens works. Codeword is longest sentence you can think of. 3. Redesigns of the character are allowed, but please please please ask me first. 4. The AGAB and name is not changeable, however you may make your character trans, and find a INRP reason for your character to change their name. 5. Research your disabilities, whether you're adding them, or the kit comes with one. 6. Please don't be upset if you don't get the kit. No matter what, I still appreciate your application, and remember there are plenty other amazing kits in the litter hub! 7. Remix and forum applications are not mandated, but strongly preferred. It won't make your chance of getting the kit higher, it's just easier for me to sort through. 8.
