Let me explain it with cookies and a desk. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Imagine your brain has a big table. That table = your RAM. It’s where your brain puts stuff you’re working on *right now*. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Your files live in storage (like a cabinet). But when you open them, they get copied to RAM — your fast, messy desk. RAM is: - FAST - TEMPORARY - AWESOME ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Example: You open a game. → It loads from storage… → And gets placed on the RAM desk. Now your computer can use it quickly! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚠️ But... RAM doesn’t last forever. When your computer turns off everything on the RAM table disappears.
