INTRODUCTION Here's another CC, it's been a while! I really enjoy drawing for these, even if I don't very often. I do plan on making a Halloween CC at some point, but maybe not- we'll just see what happens! I'm enjoying them as they come :) RULES 1. Be kind to yourself and others. 2. You do not have to ask to enter. 3. Please credit me in your entry for drawing the lineart and hosting the CC. 4. Feel free to edit the line art or use another program! 5. And, of course, follow all Scratch Community Guidelines and Terms Of Service in your entry. - If you break any of these rules, you may be disqualified from the contest. HOW TO ENTER Step 1. Remix the project. Step 2. Using the fill bucket tool and the pen tool in Scratch Bitmap, color in the line art. Step 3. Change the description of the project to give credit, then post! - There is an edited version inside that has optional extra lines, such as guidelines and eyelashes. These are in color to make them optional, or don't use them at all and just use the blank sprite! - There is a version of the line art inside labeled 'Export Me' that has the original lineart before I converted it to be Scratch-friendly. You can use this if you are using a program outside of Scratch to color it. - There's also a vector SVG in there, and if you don't know what that means, don't worry about it you won't need it. I don't really know what anyone would need this for but I wanted to include it just in case someone does find it useful. TIPS TO WIN 1. Shade your entry 2. Add a background (I ran out of time to do this for my entry- but don't worry, if you run out of time too or just can't draw, a photo background is still so much cooler than nothing. However, AI backgrounds are significantly less cool than nothing.) 3. Add a story in the description (or a personal story of why you like this song, or the lore of the character you're using... anything to show that you're putting thought into the description of the project, as well as the project itself, is major bonus points!) 4. Edit the line art! 5. Match the theme of the song 6. Change the name from "CC Remix" to "CCE". 7. Be nice to your entry and to the entries of others. 8. Add to studios, love, favorite, tell a friend! FAQ Q: I'm confused by something in the description... A: Don't worry about it, just color and have fun! Any rules broken by innocent mistake will be forgiven :) Q: Do I have to use Scratch to color it? A: Absolutely not, I love seeing submissions from all programs! Even traditional art would be cool (which is something you would want to use the SVG for... I knew it had a purpose!) Q: Is the character a cat or a dog? A: I had a hyena in mind drawing the lineart, but the fun thing about this style is that it's intentionally vague and able to be interpreted as whatever you want! Q: When does it close? A: When it closes! Most of my CCs don't have solid set end dates, and this one will be the same- I estimate around fifteen entries, though :) Q: Are there prizes? A: Not usually, but for this CC, the answer is... if I have time. And motivation. Slip a character reference sheet into an extra sprite in your entry if you want me to draw them if you win, and I'll see if I have time. (I can do humanoids, cats, dogs, dragons, I will try my best for whatever you send my way!) I also follow my winners :) Q: Can I use the lineart for something else? A: I literally can't stop you, just give credit! Q: Who's OC is in the example? A: Oh come on, we both know nobody would ever really ask this. BUT. I've named her Shenanigans and I think she's amazing and I want to give her lore NOTES AND CREDITS I can't wait to see what everyone makes!
