ch 17 pov : luna i stared at jasmine like she was my prey. she was the one i was going to k!ll. suddenly, i heard "player 120, eliminated." elena? how the hell the she d!3? i grabbed my knife preparing to st@b jasmine when suddenly, she spoke. "that woman you are hunting, player 388, is somewhere there." she pointed. and so i ran, in pursuit of koh for being the REASON my rebellion failed. if it weren't for him, we would've ended squid game. pov : wonjin i had just found thea's p!ll necklace laying on the ground. i grabbed it and took a p!ll. that way i can k!ll hika for k!lling her... the only one i trusted... ine. i still can't believe that she was d3@d. and so i took a p!ll. suddenly, i felt dizziness but i was stronger. i could k!ll someone. i had just found a room, with the exit. i had found a lady, player 044 (jasmine) laying there after getting pushed out of the exit. i approached jasmine and asked, "hey, um have you seen ine? she's player number 380. she's getting attacked by player 124." she glared at me, almost like i've sinned against her stupid gods. she spitted out words about her gods when suddenly, i turned. hika? in a blue vest? this is MY chance to k!ll her. and so i pulled out my kn!f3. i grabbed her by the neck before i st@bbed her in the chest. then suddenly, ine's de@d body showed to me... i had k!lled her again... "player 380 eliminated." what i didn't know was that it was the shaman jasmine who d!3d, not ine. and actually, "player 044, eliminated. player 125, pass." was announced. pov shuyu time was ticking. i was still looking for players to k!ll. i only had 15 minutes left before i would be the one to d!3. i had to survive. for bea. for everyone. finally, i saw two bodies. one was evelyn's and the other was one covered in red, of player 100. i felt both of them. i saw evelyn's eyes with a glow that had faded... so she was de@d. the other one... there was still a glow in his eyes. and so i prepared my kn!f3 on the old man. i lifted it before st@bbing his back. "player 240, pass. player 100, eliminated." i headed out to find bea. she had to be safe with me too. not long after, i bumped into another hider and tripped. the hider pushed me down to the stairs, leaving my leg... fractured. suddenly, i found an unlocked room. there, bea hid alone. i had found her. "i k!ll3d a player." i smiled as i announced to her. she appeared with a faint smile, apparently relieved that i had survived. now i just had to make sure she survived the game too. pov luna i had found koh. or so i thought... she was just lying there near a door. i used my knife and prepared to stab the player when i looked closely... the number wasn't 388, it was 197. i had tried to k!ll an innocent player. i ran and went on the other side of the maze. there stood koh, near a trap door that could have led to her fall. i readied my kn!f3. she finally confessed, "i was never a marine anyways! i had faked my identity so that i can join your team! please don't k!ll me!" i stared at her, in pure anger and disbelief. i never knew that she had faked everything the whole time. i finally readied the kn!f3 and cornered her on the ground. i grabbed her neck and bam. life was draining out of her... but then i realized... it was not her fault. it was all mine. koh... i shouldn't have k!ll3d her. i should've purposefully failed the game. why did i have to do this? i couldn't end the games, and i dont have anything left to live for. aezrielle pov time was ticking. i still had found no one, except for that one guy who tried to k!ll me but a fellow seeker had saved me. finally, i found an unlocked door. maybe, i can k!ll someone now? and so i opened it. there stood mi-cha. my own mom... and that pregnant lady who just gave birth. i had to k!ll one of them. i begged mi-cha, desperately pleading, "i haven't k!ll3d anyone yet! can you please left me k!ll her?" i pointed to player 222. mi-cha frantically pleaded, "don't! don't k!ll yoona!" but nothing can stop me from surviving. i cornered yoona and pulled out a kn!f3. but suddenly, i felt something in my back. i turned around. mi-cha? why did she have to stop me? i sobbed, "mom?" she gave me one final hug before the timer hit 0. i c0ll onto the ground next to elena's d3 body. and bam. then everything went black. a pink guard had shot me. mi-cha pov no, no... even my own son was d3. first it was miri, then elena, now him? what? it's either that i leave these games as soon as possible, or d!3 in the next. i can't take this anymore. i looked at yoona and her newborn baby with concern. tears dropped from her eyes as she looked over both elena's and aezrielle's bodies. i walked out of the game, tears still streaming out of my eyes. my own son... d3. i don't have anything to live for. suddenly, i heard player 124 complaining to a guard, "can i please go back to the game arena to get something? i think i forgot it." the guard shook their head. she was dejected.
ch 18 hika pov where the hell are thea's p!lls? i just wanted them back. now they were gone, no more. i couldn't continue anymore. at least without that precious necklace which belonged to thea. my number was finally called. "player 124, please cast your vote." i sighed in disappointment. i really didn't want to do it. my hand led me to the x button and i pressed it. i was no longer a proud o voter. i was only a weak x voter now. i watched as wonjin pressed the o button. i didn't expect her to do it, but she did. probably because i pressed x instead this time. if only thea's p!lls were still there... mi-cha pov i walked up to the buttons and pressed x, before i got on my knees. i knew that i had to do this. i had to get out of this as soon as possible. i begged, "please! let us go!" the next player walked up, her eyes setting on the o button. she looked back at me, but she still pressed o. everything that was mine was gone. i had nothing left. and she even dared to do that? tears streamed from my face again. i walked up to player 456, still handcuffed to a bunk. all night, we talked. "you know," my eyes filled with sorrow as i said this, "once, i was so mad with my son that i grounded him. and i found out that night that her wrote an apology letter for me. i cried all night and the next day, i was still mad with him." "it's not your fault he d!3d..." she whispered to me. that gave me comfort, but still... i couldn't do this anymore. why did i even join these games? i sat there, thinking about everything the game has taken from me... before i stood up from the dark dorms and walked. yoona pov my baby and i woke up next morning, when the guards came out with one of the coffins. someone has d!3d the last night. i looked up... mi-cha ... no. tears streamed from my eyes ever more than before and even my baby cried. mi-cha... more tears covered my face. i looked down, dejected. they had took everyone i trusted away from me... i walked in the colorful hallways with luna. i was still down from everything that happened yesterday... they first took away elena, and now they took mi-cha away from my life. "luna unnie... i don't think i can do this anymore... elena... mi-cha..." she patted my back before explaining, "elena... she chose. mi-cha...she chose." i had to at least keep my baby safe. i explained, "luna. keep this promise. first, you keep my baby safe. then you can keep me safe. but you have to take care of the baby in case i d!3." she nodded. she knew that my baby was important to her... i still couldn't believe that chae decided to get rid of my protector, and the games got rid of my adoptive mother... and so we all went into the next game. jump rope. i gave luna the baby before i sat down on one of the stools at the entrance. another girl sat next to me. "hey," the girl introduced herself. "i'm shuyu." i smiled. she was injured... just like me. we were both in the same situation. "and i'm yoona. nice to meet you." wonjin pov jump rope. this was the perfect time to get my revenge on hika. i finally snapped, with her cross necklace on my hands. i held it up to her. "want this back? well get it on the bridge." she pleaded, apologizing for everything she has done. i couldn't forgive her anymore. she had done everything to t0rtvre me, including getting rid of the only person i trusted... ine. suddenly, the rope had started to move. i stepped up before throwing the cross necklace on the bridge. hika stepped on the bridge before she made three successful jumps. she had gotten her cross. but as she opened it, a hint of realization sparked in her eyes. her p!lls were all gone. i had got my revenge. she fell to the void with her necklace after getting hit by that rope. "player 124, eliminated."
