Yeah sorry again for not posting much. I've been busy with school but mostly just I don't really have motivation to post on Scratch anymore ToT Yes it has the best community of all the art sites I've been on. Yes it has all my friends. Yes I'm the most popular on here vs on DA or TH. But like- the art does NOT get any traction really. Now I know people just draw for themselves. It's what makes them happy. I do that sometimes too, yeah. But I draw SPECIFICALLY to tell other people the stories I've created in my head because words are really hard. It's nice to have like a barely coherent hyperfixated yap session on my OCs and then show off art of them like "Yeah these are the guys I was talking about, now the next time I show art you'll know it was ____ in the art :3" Also this doesn't happen on ANY site or in general sure. The only time this happens is with people I talk to almost every day or have been friends with for literal years. HOWEVER something else I like is getting noticed. Yeah yeah, call me selfish. But in general who doesn't like to get comments and likes n stuff? It makes you feel seen. Maybe people don't care about me or the my OCs, but at least they think the art I spent hours on is neat :') This is the main reason I don't really post on Scratch. On DA, the art gets more traction and faster. Hundreds of people see that art every day, vs the 14 views I get on projects usually. I mean my refs and my MAPs have tons more and same with my about me project but that's because I literally direct people to them continuously ToT OH OH ANOTHER REASON: Bro some of my lore ain't made for the people under 13 ToT I SWEAR I'LL TONE THE EXPLANATIONS DOWN AND MAKE THEM AS KID FRIENDLY AS I CAN HELP- though it is easier to just explain them as normally as I can :') Also not all of my guys are 13+ I swear-! don't come for me gang I know I have to, well, ACTUALLY POST to get popular enough for projects to get seen but it's so hard- To my friends and the people who regularly show up (you know who you are ;] ), thank you all ToT I really appreciate all of you and for giving me spurts of motivation every time you comment n stuff :] and you know what, thanks for just like- talking to me ToT I check my messages every day btw, often times up to 5 times. I always come back to you lot being silly and it really does make me ippie ^^ And if any of my other followers who don't comment or like for various reasons, if you enjoy my art without doing those things I also appreciate you ^^ Sure I can't see that you come over but if you're there then thanks :] No, I don't plan on leaving Scratch any time soon. Why would I do that? I'm basically off getting the milk already ToT Also if I left, what if I have something that I actually want to post later on but I have to do a comeback thing before that ;-; nah I'm just gonna continue my sporadic posting and continue not getting trades and requests done (if you have a trade pending rn I'M SORRY PLEASE REMIND ME) ALSO I have an animatic coming up that I started in like May but I decided to pick up again ToT It's not even that big it's like 20 seconds max and it's only taken about 3 hrs so far according to Ibispaint- Who knows if I'll actually finish it
