But to the brutal superpower of the east, Virex Dominion, Halcyra is a threat: a living symbol that freedom can exist without control. Crescent, a quiet civilian of Halcyra — neither soldier nor spy — is captured in a cross-border raid under suspicion of "ideological contamination." Deemed a risk to Virex's total order, Crescent is sentenced to the Citadel of Reformation, an iron tower buried beneath the ash dunes, where captives are not just broken — they are unmade. In this gray prison, names are stripped. Memories are rewritten. Individuality is punished. Days blur into cold metal and silence. Every attempt to remember life before Virex is met with isolation, psychological manipulation, and the slow erasure of Crescent’s identity. But there are whispers — murmurs of others who remember, who resist in silence. Or perhaps it’s only in Crescent’s head. In Virex, even hallucination is treason. There is no escape. There is no rescue. There is only the slow, meticulous unraveling of what it means to be sane. ------------------------------ ⋆༺⚔༻⋆-------------------------------
