His old ref wasn’t terrible but I just felt like I could do better, and I had a few things I wanted to add or change 1. New ref (September 2025) 2. Previous/first ref (July 2025) I mostly just altered his colors a little and changed up his clothes a bit. I like him a lot better with the full length pants and shoes instead of the pantaloon things and boots. Generally just made him look a bit more like some sort of nobleman. Also a bit charming since that’s a pretty big part of his character. Also shape language! That’s fun. Been messing around with that a lot more lately and I like it- also trying stylizing hands and feet and such a bit more. I think the most obvious addition is the scar on his nose. If you’ve read my profile comments you might have seen me talk about that the other day, and honestly I like it. I like the idea of both William AND Edmond having physical scars from each other. While Ed was mostly the physically harmful one, I do think there would’ve been a point where William fought back and possibly broke his nose, most likely during their breakup, because it doesn’t entirely make sense for William to have not done anything. I also just like it visually though ngl Man their relationship is so interesting to me, they’re so horrible for each other <3 I wanna yap about them so much but alas most of the things about their relationship isn’t quite scratch friendly so… </3 Anyways, I like this version a lot better. He’s horrible, I love him <3333 /hj
