In the early hours of the 18th of September, the first UIS strikes landed in a Mersivan radar station poised on the coast line; among other covert operations by UIS Sub surface forces. President VPT has this to comment: "Ultimately, Mersiva's Social and Political unrest has reached its climax. It is clear that a No-Guarantee Policy of self governing is no longer sufficient, and external intervention will be necessary to reinstate a Free Democratic Government."
