The Gaians were not as dangerous as we expected. Their intentions aside from colonization are unknown. They've already conquered most rocky planets and moons in 3 other solar systems, including their home system. They're colonizing the Northwest Territories, Greenland, Alaska, Siberia, and a few Antarctic islands. This is believed to be because they're Earth's most similar regions to the Gaian's home planet, Gaia, which is close to the outer edge of its host star's habitable zone. The Greenland, American, Canadian, and Russian governments are working on a peace treaty with the Gaians to agree on where they can and can't colonize, and to share their advanced technology and knowledge with humanity.
