In AP Physics C: Mechanics (and probably some other physics courses as well), you learn that there is a specific relationship between position (x), velocity (v), and acceleration (a). By graphing the instantaneous velocity, we can tell when an object is speeding up or slowing down and in which direction. The demo lets you see the the graphs and an actual object (the car) alongside an explanation of the motion in the bottom right corner. On the graph there are 4 regions of importance and 3 time values that are important as well. Note: This graph uses Instantaneous Velocity and Instantaneous Acceleration. The only way to obtain these two things is with a little bit of Calculus.
