Warriorcatsrule8408 (and GlitchedWolf for original lineart) Not-so-basic, basic story: Pebble (soon to be Featherpaw) was taken out of her Clan with her siblings Light and Storm (soon to be Stormeye), to be with their loner mama. Her father Darkspots leaves and goes into the forest causing him to get crushed by a tree branch, her mother Sand is accidentally killed by her once-friend Oakstorm, Light gets hit by a monster, and Storm leaves Pebble to bury Light by herself. Darkspots death: "Where is Darkspots going?" asked Pebble. "He's probably gonna be hunting for his Clan," Sand replied. "Come on, let's go." Pebble and her siblings followed Sand until they where a good distance away from the forest, but as they where walking, Pebble heard a tree fall. "Okay, you three stay here while I go hunt." Sand told them. As Sand left, Pebble followed her to see where she was really going. Sand went to where she heard the tree fall, and noticed Sand heard it to. But when Pebble got closer she noticed it was just a tree branch. Sand was trying to push the branch and when she finally did Pebble was who was under the branch. Darkspots. Sand's death: As they passed through a Clans territory, a brown tom spotted them. "Intruders!" he yelled, immediately attacking Sand. Helpless, Sand tried to fight off the warrior. Pebble, Light, and Storm stood there, unsure of what to do because they didn't know how to fight. Before long, the brown cat bit Sand's neck which killed her. Pebble stared at her mothers body, shocked. The cats stood there in silence until finally Storm said, "Cats aren't supposed to kill others unless absolutely necessary!" "Yeah what would a cat with three kits want to do with you or your Clan?!" Light jumped in. "It- it's just that-" the tom started. "We don't care about what you have to say! You just killed our mother in front of us!" Pebble cut him off, sobbing. Light's death and Storm leaving: They all stared at the Thunderpath until Storm ran across. Light and Pebble exchanged glances. "I'll go across and you follow behind," Pebble suggested. "Okay," agreed Light. Pebble quickly ran across and expected Light to be right behind her. When she looked back she noticed Light's body on the Thunderpath. "No!" Pebble shouted. She ran out and grabbed her brother by the scruff and pulled him off the Thunderpath. When she dropped Light and looked up, she saw that Storm was curled up and facing away from the Thunderpath. "Storm," Pebble started. "What?" Storm asked, standing up and turning around. "Will you help me bury Light?" Storm stared at Pebble as if she had no idea what to say. "Of course not!" she yelled. "Why?!" Storm didn't say a word as she padded away leaving Pebble with Light's body. 'Why is my family dying all around me?!' Pebble thought.
