I know understand why this anime was such a big hit, I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner... Some advice: Don't watch the Tokyo pop dub, it removes the eurobeat and replaces it with rap and rock, puts it in unconvenient moments and adds unnecessary effects during the race scenes because it was an attempt to appeal to the US markets... Watch the Funimation dub, it removes the effects and restores the original soundtrack with better cast, its way better than the toykopop dub Characters of interest- The takahashi brothers (mostly ryosuke): I like them, mostly ryosuke cuz he's the tech guy, chill, and smart. mako and sayuki: My favorite team in initial d, need I say more? Bunta: Grandpa that can be anyone he wants. (and later beats his own son in a later stage)
