On a cool November evening in 2020. DCRC 1001 switches out the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities on the Walnut Grove Branch. The water treatment plant receives two to three carloads of various chemicals twice a week. Here the train is crossing Fruitridge road southbound just after the locomotive ran around the train at Baths. Usually this run is done in the night as to not interfere with Sacramento Southern tourist trains but due to the pandemic, excursions were suspended and freights could run during the day.
