This condition is typical harmless and does not affect the cat. However, they are more prone to accidental injuries, these cats also require special nail attention. As well as, depending on where the extra toes are can lead to infections (if nail overgrows and hurts paw pad) or limping. The extra toe's nails do not grind down naturally over time like other nails do, this would mean Pip would need to grind down those nails herself, she will also struggle with a bit of a limp. She will often lower her head when stepping on her 'good' paws to help relieve the pain from the pain (when her nails are overgrown) How this will affect her in life: Preppy will need to frequently grind down her claws to keep them short to avoid infections. Also visiting the med cats to ensure her paws are good. Sometimes when doing things like climbing she will get a small injury, she will be a little slower when walking when her paws hurt from limping, whenever her claws are short her limp will still be present but not cause as much pain.
