hello! If your looking at this project then good for you! Because this is my newest rp! The Battle Of Mortoa which is based on the fun strategy game of Lines of Battle where in this rp you control one block of soldiers and have to cooperate with your team to defeat the enemy and secure victory! So will you crumble under the pressures of wartime battle tactics or will you rise with tactics rivaling Napoleon Bonaparte? Rules: 1.This rp is based on Napoleonic times so no futuristic technology 2.Be respectful. Obviously 3.I'm not a a expert on military strategy so I may have trouble calculating complex manuevers but I do like a challenge 4.1 Rp Day=1 IRL day 5.You can't call for reinforcements.(IE: I call the 7th infantry regiment since there's no 7th regiment on the players selection you can't call for t to join you in battle) 6.Units without players will be controlled by me. 7.Generals on both teams can influence(as in order to send reinforcements or withdraw),deny and urge moves. They are not allowed to force other players to do what they say to make it fair. LORE the year is 1800 A.D. and the Kingdoms of Anglica and Jrovia have been trapped in a 5 year slugfest of attrition which brings us to Mortoa a grassy hill land a few miles away from the Anglican captial: Angilam, which sets the Anglicans scrambling to gather reserves under the leadership of General Maurice Monte and is charged with defending Mortoa at all costs and on the other side the attacking Jrovians led by General Kian Keppo is charged with taking Mortoa and destroy the reserve army of the Anglicans... TIPS: -Calvary is the fastest and Artillery the slowest. -Taking the high ground on the hills will give you a advantage most so if you have artillery up there. -Calvary will work terribly if you charge into a infantries front without support. -For the Jrovian team as days go by your supply lines will be threatened more exponentially so a quick victory is key. -Make sure you don't attack without some semblance of Support. -Your unit has a stability bar if you hit the red your unit will collapse(moves that damage the stability of a unit: Attacking without support, moving your units too much or Attacking a more secure and more stronger unit then you). -You can order your troop to either Run or Walk. Runnign minuses 2 stability but is effective for charges with calvary while walking minues 1 stability but is effective for infantry(artillery movement speed will not change if your running or not). -Each team has one artillery battalion which is extremely vulnerable to mass infantry or calvary charges. -Infantry works best in lines with other regiments. -Anglicans have longer shooting muskets while Jrovia has better percentage of success in 1v1 calvary battles.
