Because of high school I'm gonna start out really slow & easy, probably only putting in a page a week so I have time to grow my extra page buildup. If all goes well, I can start to add more faster. Apologies if it's inconsistent. I am hesitant to post, as it may become a chore if I'm not meeting deadlines. My main goal is to keep this fun for me and tell a story... Names, designs, plot, & lore are subject to change. I have already put in things I regret.... So! Again, think of this as a first draft! I'll finish it (probably) before finalizing it if I ever do! Again, read the project linked above for more info... I started this on impulse with no planned plot or characters! So if it starts off a bit rocky, so be it. I also did this as a challenge to make more unique designs without relying on eye colors or markings! :D Some of the cats DO have canonical colors or markings, however, they're just not drawn. Right now, I think it's only Not-Named-Yet Tie Cat, who is a tuxedo cat. And that one hairless knight, because he's, well, hairless. So he's hairless cat colored. Of course.
May be accidentally inspired by many things, be they real historical events, other books, etc. I have tried to avoid it, but I'm telling you- If this just looks like some other story, that is NOT intentional! Based off of an IRL game of chess I am having as I create the comic.
