GUYS! IT'S FINNALY HERE! MY PLATFORMER TOTALY MADE TO BLEND IN WITH THE OTHERS AS A TOTALLY NORMAL GENERIC PLATFORMER! The Instructions are in the game. So.. this took from around September 15th 2025? Well, around that time. BEWARE that the FPS can go down to around 2-4 FPS. I do reccemend you play on Turbowarp https://turbowarp.org/122012957 but it doesn't really make a difference. If you have the addon 60 FPS, you can try that. It brings a 4 to a 12 FPS. However, I think just ALT and green flag on turbowarp will do the 60 FPS without the scratch addon.
Here is the story as I can remember... So in 2025, me and my friend @Meatball_747, learned how to live scratch, and make games together! We started with a project named BOB, cause why not? Then, we decided to make a platformer together. Now, here is how the game started. Just a normal platformer to just jump and do whatever. There was only one place to be in the game. I made almost all the code of the first version of the game. Meatball made the sprites and backgroud. Also, I tried to add sprinting in the game while you roll around. But after rolling, I couldn't get the player to stop rolling and face 90 degrees. After about 3 days, we left the project shared to be kinda like a demo. It took me about a week to figure the run and roll, and when I did, Meatball said "Ok cool." Like he had no idea how long it took. Later, I had an Idea. What if I upgrade the project to be a lot better! Then, I started. So I started by fixing the "Sprinting in the game while you roll around. But after rolling, I couldn't get the player to stop rolling and face 90 degrees." I did it by insted of using a forever loop to check, I detect if the R key is pressed, and then brodcast a messeage that has, if not 'R' key is pressed, then point in direction 90 degrees. It worked, kind of how it is now! Later I started on the levels, and then the title screen, and to save time, use the cutscene on the trailer. Then I started on the enemys. Then, another problem struck. When I started to roll, insted of going faster, I went slower. My explanation to this is the way scratch makes circles. Sometimes, on the left and top of the circle turns a bit falt, and scratch checks for every pixal of the game meaking me go into the ground by a few pixals. I fixed this by making the player change the y position by 1 whenever I move by around 0.1 seconds and gravity pulls me down. It looked like nothing changed, but when I walked normally, the hit the floor noise kept coming. I left it to be like a walking noise for the circle. Then I started the easy mode (In beta). After that, the game was totally ready. Totally didn't have to do any extra stuff that I didn't tell you. "BUT WAIT ROHIN416, where was ? Now, after he said "Ok cool." He stoped working in this project. So we stoped Live Scratching. I was the one to contiue on the project. When I maneged to get a word with him, he said he will do some finishing touches, but never did. Now here I am, proud to finish this, but this story is much bigger for me than you. But the best part is, I AM NOT LETTING THIS GO!!! I WILL TRY MY BEST TO MAKE THE PROJECT TO BE WHAT I WANTED TO BE. For now, here is the project for everyone to see. This was the only thing he wrote for the project. "Collaborators: and ." Now, it's here, and me? I will be here to see what Ican do to become a better scratcher.
