UPDATE: i am no longer working on this... BECAUSE IM GONNA CODE IT IN C#!!!!!!! :DD thats right, i'm taking precious, valuable time out of my life to learn a proper coding language to make this game a reality! So, for right now, this will simply be a sprite showoff game! works with wasd and arrow keys! i plan on adding the other characters when i finish them! NO THIS IS NOT FINISHED. I AM SHOWING YOU THE WIP. also I cant get the variables to hide for anything so you MIGHT have to open the project and fix it yourself be warned this MAY be very large when finished PLAY IN FULLSCREEN!! Skylights.PY is a simple game about a girl named Abigail. A hyperactive mind, an immature teen, and a habit called escapism. She'd only been getting worse, by the day, when... her skylight opens. And she manages to climb out into freedom.
patch/coding updates ----- 0.1 ; first share, large wip. only have character animations + basic intro animation, lots of placeholders 0.1.1 ; background scrolling is finished! can be used as an Abigail sprite testing game while I hire background makers/make some myself! 0.1.2 ; beginning work on background items/stamping. removed intro sequence for easier coding 0.1.3 ; changed the game into a sprite showoff game. scratch is rather limited and im no genius, so i'm learning c# to code it directly. this will be the last update for now until i can get the other sprites done. anything below is a placeholder currently credits to @/griffpatch for the player sprite movement code + honestly most of the other code sections---your tutorials are awesome! :) credits to (insert music maker's @s) for soundtrack creation. check out their stuff if they have anything published!
