Episode 1 of the "Hollow Counties" analog horror series. Story: In Hollow County, residents began reporting a “lost hour” in the early 1970s, but it went largely unnoticed by authorities until 1977, when a surge of simultaneous missing-time incidents was detected across the county. People described waking in the middle of the night, disoriented, with no memory of how they arrived at their beds, floors, or windows. Pets and neighbors sometimes observed people standing in silence for extended periods, eyes fixed, completely unresponsive. The National Weather Service and Office of Civil Preparedness issued a series of emergency broadcasts to warn residents, though the content of these broadcasts quickly became corrupted. Each transmission was structured like a normal EBS alert—but the text and synthesized voice contained unsettling warnings about the interval itself. Residents who tried to document their experiences often reported hearing the EBS voice repeating their thoughts back to them, even when the broadcast was off-air. Over time, Hollow County became ground zero for the Hollow Intervals, where the anomalies are strongest and most frequent. Local folklore twisted into whispered warnings: “Do not stay awake after two. The hour watches you.”
This is not for the faint of heart. Although no visually graphic things are shown, it can still cause people to be scared. Head my warning...
