‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Belief ☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ Redemptionriot holds a bit of a different belief than other cats around her, while the feline does hold a belief in Starclan she doesn't see them as a guide such as others do. Instead, she believes death is the guider of souls and the leader of the afterlife due to the fact Starclan exists due to death. Death is an offering to a new cycle/generation of Starclan warriors. This leads us to another point in her beliefs. Bones! To Redemptionriot, while fresh decays bones remain and are eternal holding truth. She studies the cracks, shapes, and the way the bones scatter when thrown to 'read' fate as if she were reading clouds or the stars. She also sees bones as stories of all that have passed before, left to pass generation to generation as a lesson to all the cats in the future. While Starclan is the spirit and death is the leader, bones are the proof and Earth's truth. ૮︵⭒‿᧔☪︎᧓‿⋆︵౨ ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Practices☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ ☾⋆｡? °✩ Bones: Redemptionriot grabs a pile of clean and small prey bones and tosses them onto the ground (bird bones, teeth, claws, etc...) and tries to figure out their patterns. Different shapes mean different signs, for example: If bones fall onto each other and form a cross that means danger awaits in the future. If they form a circle, normality/wholeness. After using them she says a prayer and offers them back to the Earth so they can 'rest'. ☾⋆｡? °✩ Death Vigils: She whispers prayers to both Death herself and Starclan. Death for a peaceful eternal slumber, and Starclan in hopes their spirit makes it there perfectly fine and at peace. She will sit a full nights vigil with the deceased and pray her gratefulness to them the whole night and then make an offering of prey (leftover prey about to spoil) to Death to appease her after a busy night. ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Terminology☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ The Marrow: The truth found in the bones. Fissures: Prophesies of bad fates read in the bones. The Hollow: Limbo between dying and going to Starclan. Stars Ribcage: Fate's web, the cycle of life and death. Time of Reaping: Period of time where death takes souls. Sunset and sunrise. Shadow blood: Cursed bloodlines (she considers herself one).
