ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ ❝ the red means i love you! ❞ despite what some people may believe, blind cats are actually more than capable of adapting to their environments! there are numerous causes for blindness in cats, but in chimerakit's case, it would simply be genetic. a blind cat can memorize its surroundings as well as use the scent glands on their paws, however if things are moved around it may struggle to relocate things and will have a higher chance of bumping into objects. in this case, chimerakit would probably run into other cats or dens quite often or get disoriented in her younger moons before she learns the layout of camp. at this point, she would be able to traverse camp pretty naturally using her memorization and scents of her clanmates. due to her lack of vision, she would also be prone to falling off of raised surfaces as a kit until she develops the memory of where those surfaces are. she is also very easily entranced by noises, enjoying listening to new sounds. she doesn't like it when things are quiet. when a cat lacks their sight, their other senses are heightened greatly. chimerakit would use her sense of smell and hearing a lot more than the usual pyroclan warrior would ❝ tasting your blood means i love you! ❞ ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ ❝ so treat everyday like a holiday ❞ i'd like chimerakit to live to 40 at minimum, and 60 as a preferred age before i even consider getting rid of her :] truthfully i'd like to keep her around for as long as her story goes on, which in the right conditions can be until she moves on from old age! trivia - she thinks compliments are performative, but expects others to gratefully accept hers. ugh, what a hypocrite she hates when cats ask what her favorite color is. what do you think?? her favorite sound is the sound of rain, though. especially when there's light thunder she's burnt herself a time or two as an apprentice after trying to touch the rain i imagine she's allergic to soot, which is really a tragedy for her because she lives in pyroclan territory. citrus, too, but those don't grow there so she'll be alright in that department. if a cat ever wrongs her, don't think she'll forget or forgive you. she'll pretend to be submissive for a while, but don't underestimate her- she has a great memory. ❝ until you slip away ❞ ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ an unhealthy obsession - the black robinson synthetic orchestra the red means i love you - madds buckley dinner for one - baybe daisies - black gryph0n & baasik
