Yeah so for my drama class, we recently had these group scenes that we had to make masks for. I decided to base mine on Mae Borowski from the game Night in the Woods :D (on a side note, drama is one of the most fun classes ever and I keep finding the best ways to put my interests into it. Our main play we're doing this year is Peter Pan and I got one of the background pirates, but we have to make character cards for them and design our characters. ...so I just drew chapter 2 Rouxls. And named my character Rue Kaard. Yeah drama's great-) 1. Front view 2. Side view 1 3. Side view 2 4. Woahh, that's me wearing it :00 I am very awkward with my hands so bam peace sign 5. Even more awkwarddd, finger gunsss- 6. Oooh, wowww, beautiful art (kind of feat. scrapbook-style page of Kris I did but you can't see it-) 7. :O 8. Erm, acshually! (I thought I could fit my glasses on there better and didn't realize how messed up they were sob-) 9. bonus one - JIMMY!! MY POSSUM PLUSHIE I MADE LIKE A YEAR AGO NOW!! I LOVE JIMMY!! 10. bonus two - Fred!! :D if you have wondered how he is now, here he is! still about the same! (also ignore how messy my desk is in the background of all of these, I can never get all of my sewing stuff organized </3) Materials used - - Masquerade-style half mask - Cardboard (for snout and ears) - Hot glue - Scissors - 1 sheet of gray felt - Various paints - Paintbrushes - Trucker hat (I legit cannot find mesh ANYWHERE and I have been searching for a while, so I just got a like $2 hat from Walmart. And seam ripped a bunch of the back piece. And painted that and cut it out and glued it on for eyes) - Fleece (for lining! I was going to take a picture of the back, but a) it was really hard to get it to sit backwards and not have a really bad shadow and b) I had to write my deadname on it when I turned it in, and I don't really want you guys to see that ofc) - Elastic Took just one day to make!! About 4-6 hours, give or take? Also didn't watch any tutorials or anything (+ this wasn't my first mask, but it was my first time felting a mask, using this base, lining, and putting eyes), so I am very happy with how it turned out! Definitely my favorite mask I've made so far! :D I shall now go back into my abyss for another month or two, goodbye- (/hj. gonna try to post a kandi + perler tour or art dump sometime soon-ish ^^)
