I’ve got 2 rants today. One from my personal life, one thing I’ve noticed online. I’ll start with the online one. I’ve seen so many projects/comments hating on something because it’s “cringe.” Take KPDH for example. Many people think it’s cringe, which is fine in your opinion, like good for you. But when someone expresses their liking for it, please please PLEASE do not go into the comments saying “Bro it’s so cringe how do you like it-“ SHUT UP. You cannot call something cringe because it’s mainstream or popular. You may have your own reasons for not liking smth, which is completely ok, just don’t rain on someone else’s parade. I’ve seen this so many times where people think they can only like one thing and entirely despise the other. That’s not healthy. Trying new things and stuff is good for you! Just because one thing is your favorite doesn’t mean that you can’t also like another. Please stop this. Every day after school, me and my friends walk home. We all go different ways eventually, but we walk in the same general direction for about 10 minutes. Today, it was taking a while for one of my friends to meet up with us at the gate. We waited for a few minutes (it should not have taken her that long) and left because we all have lives and want to get home. We’re crossing the first crosswalk and she comes running up from behind us, slapping me and my two other friends that were walking with us on the back of our necks. Not even a little bat. A full on SMACK. I got really mad and started yelling at her in the middle of the street, checking on my other friends who were in a bit of pain. I hurry them across the street, still furious at her. This was the basic conversation “why would you do that??” “You guys didn’t wait for me!” “We were waiting for 15 minutes!” “Well I was getting spirit wear!” “We’re not gonna wait that long just for you to get spirit wear! We were already waiting for so long!” “You should still wait for me. It’s not nice to just leave me” “AND ITS NOT NICE TO SLAP US LIKE THAT” After that things got pretty quiet. One of my friends went home and I was left with that girl and one of my other friends. Let’s call the girl who slapped me F and the other girl T. T and F were talking while I’m pressing the button for the second crosswalk. I’m pretty angry by now and F has to audacity to ask are you ok? I left. Now I’m not sure how tomorrows gonna go
