His mother, Hurricanesea, died of an illness before any of the kits could get to know her, leaving their father to raise them by himself. As the only fatherly figure he had, Trailingkit began to idolise Snapdragonsnare, especially after his father told him about his old enemy Chargekit. However Trailingkit was a happy kit. He gained his first scar during his kithood when a playfight with him and his brother Cracklingkit went wrong, causing him to lose part of his ear and scar his brother’s chest.
