At the age of 5 she was already being abused by her parents, but then her parents gave her up to the government (2 years latter) so they could experiment on her. basically the government was seeing if they could give people (military) powers with a single injection. subjects 1-10 died. and 11-15 worse off after a few days. #20 was the first successful one, but his powers where week. 21 was a success, and 22 was as well, but they had different powers, and they where strong. 22 can control darkness. and teleport through shadows (took some inspo from Nico if you know what I mean) she is strongest in the dark, and when needed she can merge with shadows, basically becoming a shadow. but it is dangerous she cant do it for long or she permanently becomes a shadow. anyways back to the story, she was continually tested on. One day she escapes, and is now on the run. it isn't easy, her powers have made her cold and un-trusting. she was given to the government when she was 7, so she dosn't remember a bunch about her past life. she is now 16. the only thing she has from it is a dog stuffed animal. oh and her parents are dead.
