I quit making vectors & sprites. There are a few reasons. First is my lack of motivation for Scratch stuff in general. I don't know why, I just lost motivation recently. Second is probably a bigger reason. And that is: I don't really think there's a reason to make vectors for me anymore. What's the point of making mediocre, undetailed character vectors or sprites when there are dozens of people who do better? Check out vectors made by really talented people like @raheelzilla12345, @xX-360NoScope-Xx, @-_SpeakerGuy_-, etc. They do better than me in every aspect possible. I know it's stupid to compare with other people, but I do think it wouldn't change anything even if my version for a character vector doesn't exist. Basically, my vectors don't really have a meaning to exist at this point. If you want a character vector, just use theirs! Those are better in every way possible! Like I've said multiple times before, I'm untalented. The stuff I make is mediocre at best. Up until recently I kept believing I will be better, but I've realized this is the best I can do. The lack of "talent" can be filled up with experiences up to some point. And I think I've reached that "some point" where experiences can no longer fill the lack of talent. If you don't believe me, check the shades on vectors. I never used shades while talented people master them. Why? Because I simply don't have enough artistic talent to use shades on my vectors. And then, the details. Not only do my vectors miss key details the best vectors have, even if they do they look off and inaccurate. Most vectors have REALLY detailed shirts, cosmetics, etc. while my stuff is either 1) Simply inaccurate or 2) Details completely ignored. And last but not least, my instincts suck! I do think it's normal to speculate on how things look if they don't have a reference image, and I do think most people use their instincts. And I do that too - except they just simply, suck. Things I made using purely my imagination and speculations aren't only inaccurate but also low-quality and off. Back then, I was really proud of these vectors. And the only reason is because I was satisfied with how it turned out. Yet, that "satisfaction" was probably the main reason I was blinded for a really long time and didn't realize how garbage my stuff actually was. I do admit that I may have "inspired" some of you to make vectors, but I'm sure it's not because it looks good, but rather because back then, there were barely any vectorizors in this community, and I do think I'm one of the earliest vectorizors here. And that's probably why my vectors looked appealing to some of you: Because I've been practicing to vectorize very similar things for a long time. Again, it's not talent, it's experience. Anyways, I think the ones I made are basically outdated. And sadly, I can't make them better - that's the best I can do, and there isn't enough talent for me to do any better than the mediocre vectors which exist right now. So, I feel like I've done my part a long time ago as a vectorizor, and it's time to step back for me. I regret that I haven't done this sooner - it was already obvious a few months ago, but satisfaction blinded me and allowed me to believe in something impossible. So, the conclusion is, there are no more vectors from StickmanTheAnimator from today. If there are any vectors I promised to make in the past and are still not yet released, I'm really sorry, but I don't think I'll make them. I apologize. To anybody who has used my vectors or supported my vectorizing carrer, thank you for everything. I really appreciate it, and it means a lot to me. Stickman out.
