Well, I can’t create anything at the moment. Geometry class is challenging, and I don’t have my home Chromebook with me right now. I’ve also been spending too much time on Forsaken (not my fault!). On top of that, I’m struggling to come up with ideas for BFDM and figuring out how to execute them. For instance, I have a complete script for Episodes 1A and 1B, but something just doesn’t feel right about it. Episode 1A feels a bit chaotic. I tried to make it funny, but it turned out too fast-paced, almost like Cocomelon, changing scenes every five seconds. Only about two scenes are medium-sized, if I remember correctly. Episode 1B is unfinished and has a drastic decrease in speed compared to 1A. I’m not sure how to fix it without completely redoing the script. I’m also struggling with designing the other characters. As you can see, I’m not great at creating characters on my own. For example, Blood Drop is someone else’s asset (don’t worry, I credited them), just recolored. Ball is literally just a circle (which is fine, but still), I got lazy with Karot and made him a joke character with a goofy expression. LITE’s base is the star sprite from Scratch’s menu that I just recolored and added limbs and a face to, and Gas Canister just looks off. Don’t even get me started on animating. I don’t know how to animate well. While BFDM is intended to help me practice, it doesn’t feel right to produce low-quality animation for a show I want to publish on Scratch. I want to create something good for all of you, but I’m struggling with animation and syncing audio. The backgrounds are even worse; the current one is just a piece of grass and a blue sky with eye-sore colors. I have no idea how to make proper backgrounds. I really just need more time to figure all this out. I’m sorry.
