THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY: THIS PROJECT DOES NOT CONDONE OR CONDEMN THE DEATH PENALTY! This is an animation of a hypothetical execution by firing squad. The person in this animation who is being executed is Tyler Robinson, who brought the method under the spotlight when Utah suggested they may use the method against him for his role in the killing of Charlie Kirk.
This is about as accurate as the procedure gets. 6 shooters, 1 with a non-lethal wax bullet (contrary to popular belief, it is not a blank), fire simultaneously at a white target on the condemned person's chest from about 25 feet away behind a wall. The weapon used in the state of Utah is a .30-30 Winchester Model 1894, which I drew for this animation. Lastly, I created this project in a single afternoon after I realized that I've never really made a follow-up to my lethal injection project in 2020 when I've always wanted to make this of other methods. Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk (1993-2025)
