Rough ER: has ribosomes attached to it Smooth ER: No ribosomes Mitochondria: Transforms molecules from food into proteins and other compounds for the cell to use. (like an AC/DC adapter) Vacuoles: Stores proteins, salts, lipids and other compounds for the cell to use later on, as well as water and waste products. Golgi Bodies: Stores, modifies and packages components made in the ER for storage or release Lysosomes: Break down dead components of the cell then send it off as energy
