Thank you for checking out Minigame Creator! v1.0.1 This is a platformer editor that focuses on mechanics and logic. ✎Note: This is an advanced editor that relies on the knowledge of logic gates. If you know nothing about logic gates don't worry, they are easy to learn the basics of and are quite fun when you learn them! To make more complicated levels, it is recommend you run this project on Turbowarp! Ads are not allowed but PLEASE feel free to share links to your remixes and levels of this project! I really want to see them and will gladly feature them on my profile! ● Instructions: There is a tutorial slideshow inside the project that covers most of the information you need to know. Controls: Z key = place tile X key = erase tile C key = wire/connect tile(s) V key = edit tile (can rotate supported tiles) ● Saving & Sharing: This project does not have a save code system (for reasons listed in "Commentary & Information"). To save and share your levels you must remix this project. To save changes made to a level you must save the project itself. Disclaimer: A remix warning popup will eventually appear on your remix. This is to try to prevent the project from being stolen. You are welcome to disable this popup as long as the project is listed as a remix on Scratch. Thanks so much for your understanding!!! ● Commentary & More Information: This took quite a lot of time, effort and headaches to code. I really wanted to make a logic gate sandbox that let you interact with the mechanics and traps as a platformer, allowing you to make your own minigames. I knew this project was going to be difficult to make but it definitely took way longer than I thought it would. This is the final product. I am very proud of this and I think it is probably the most advanced project I have made using Scratch. Unfortunately I could not implement a saving system that did not require the use of remixing the project, the early decision of using individual lists for each property on a tile has (most likely) caused a weird bug where the performance drops significantly when the level data is imported. Other than that, this project is pretty much complete. I most likely won't update this project any further, excluding bugs and small features. ● Credits: Pretty sure all of the art is by me. The logic gate art is my vector redesigns of logic gate pixel art. All the code is by me though some little scripts may have originated from other projects on Scratch that I forgot the name of. I do not know the origin of the sound effects. Most likely from a sfx website. I think that is all of the credits? If I am forgetting something please let me know. (This project was imported to Scratch from Turbowarp, hence the fresh project ID) Tags:
