◌°•Atlas•°◌ ---Personality--- Atlas is a reserved but compassionate tribrid. Sweet-tempered and slow to anger, he tends to avoid conflict the best he can. Atlas is pretty timid and tends to find interactions with others intimidating, although he will often hide this behind a smile. He's generally too scared to speak much, in case he makes a mistake or offends others. He has a tendency to stammer a little when he's panicked or excited, which he is both painfully conscious of. It takes a while to get through to him, so he resultantly only speaks much to a small circle of individuals. Atlas is peaceful by nature and becomes upset by arguments and fights. He loathes confrontation and tends to agree with others purely for the sake of avoiding a dispute, even when their beliefs contrast his own. Atlas is extremely dedicated to his passions and works diligently to finish a task, often burning the midnight oil without hesitation. His small house is completely cluttered with pressed plant trimmings (see bio) and tattered notebooks brimming with inky plant drawings and scribbled notes. Every single piece of paper relating to his work is like gold dust to him, every pressed plant and tattered book invaluable, even if he might not strictly need it. He has developed a mild hoarding disorder as a result of this and can be extremely protective of his work at times. Pokémon frequently tell Atlas he doesn't speak much- sometimes this is intentional, but this can also be because he's more of a listener. He finds other Pokémon far more interesting than himself and can happily listen to others talk all day without actually contributing to the conversation. ---Bio (and any additional information)--- From a young age, Atlas obsessed over plants, spending many hours pouring over the botanical illustrations drawn in musty tomes, eventually deciding to become a botanist, investigating the plathora of flora around him and checking for any changes in their behaviours over time. Due to the nature of his work as a botanist, Atlas is used to spending extended periods of time in isolation. He doesn't mind it in the slightest and enjoys the tranquility it brings. He happily works in all weather conditions, particularly savouring when it is raining, due to the fact some plants only bloom during or after precipitation. He particularly adores Hydrangea plants. Atlas can seem somewhat intimidating at first due to his part-Lucario side, but in reality he is an extremely poor fighter. He never practices fighting, though he is dimly aware of the very basics. Atlas bears no particular grudge against Dark Pokémon, but certainly would not want to run into one. Being a Lucario in some part, Atlas can somewhat sense the emotions and intentions of others, though he often doesn't really know what to do with this information. Pointing it out, especially when hidden, seems rude... but these shifts in aura can be hard for him to ignore. This is one of the reasons he tends to be so recluse- he never knows quite how to act around other 'Mon. Atlas's twin tails allow him to swim much like a Buizel would, and the grease-proof fur of Minccino doubles up as a waterproof coat. Because of Water's weakness to Electric combined with the fact Steel is also not very effective against it, Atlas is particularly vulnerable to Electric-type attacks. They leave him paralyzed more often than other Pokémon would be and deal a high level of damage to him. Due to being a tribrid, Atlas suffers the problem of not being able to use a single move successfully any more than three times in a small space of time: The first time he attempts to use a move, the probability of its success is normal for that move; the second time, this probability is reduced to half of the original value; the third time, this is reduced to only a tenth of the original probability. These success rates return to normal after around half an hour since the move was last used. This resultantly makes him pretty useless at battling. Hopefully that made some degree of sense ^^' Design notes- Atlas has Buizel-like fins on his arms and ankles- these are actually translucent but have a few semi-transparent spots of colour on them (namely blues, and a few dots of purplish-pink, basically the kind of colours you would except to see on a Portuguese man-o-war's pneumatophore). These help him in some part to swim :) Atlas also tends to wear gloves, because some of the plants he handles can be poisonous (like poison ivy). There is a hole cut in each glove so the spikes on each of his paws doesn't pierce the fabric.
Note: This is the second version of Atlas's bio sheet and is currently the most up-to-date one. I've made some changes since the last one to the design, type/nature/etc... and bio. ♬- Welcome To the World of Pokemon! (Pokémon) -Base format belongs to @Pikakit -Art belongs to me, please don't steal, trace or replicate in any way without at least asking me first! (You will be reported as it goes against the Scratch guidelines, and honestly I'm not sure why anyone would want to anyway- my art is horrible) Thank you :) Sorry about the grainy words ^^'
