i hate the phrase "born in the wrong generation". usually when someone says this it means "i enjoy the aesthetic of this time period". so just like. say that??? it's not a bad thing to like an aesthetic for superficial reasons. i ADORE comics from the 1950s, the artstyle, the fashion, the armless tiger man (yes that is real. alex lennen has a great video on it). but would i like living there? HELL NO! if anything, saying "i was born in the wrong generation" shows you either; know nothing about any history or, i don't know, anything NOT glamourized about this time period??? OR, and this is much worse, you KNOW how messed up that time period was and you like it. just afhoilaifohseijifke saying you like pretty colors is not a bad thing
