Honest opinion: In Scratch 4.0, when the Scratch Team becomes aware that the social media has some Scratchers actively posting there, Scratch would unban mentions of any social media, but advise some Scratcher discretion for Scratchers who have never been there (including many of us). It would allow mentions of any social media, but provide a warning (not a mute) before the one mentioning comments with a message stating that Scratcher discretion is advised for social media. It would slow down the bots that tried promoting a forbidden link, which got @Robogoober muted when he was trying to advise the folks to avoid and report these comments. While it won't get rid of them, it might still make Scratch a safer place for kids and many other Scratchers who also have trouble with these bots.
C2A, and stay safe while you're on Scratch! *When I said that the link contains content far worse than what Gobo saw… it'll most likely be something…not appropriate for Scratch.
