My entry for @—Gangle— ‘s OC contest!! :D ——— This is Nyra! :3 (everyone say “HI NYRA!!!”) Here’s some more info about her!! :] -She/they/it -Berrisexual - 23 years old ——— Likes: -Snails (she likes to place snails next to each other and give them race horse names and watch them “race” each other) -Glitter (she thinks people managed to capture starlight in a physical form) -Arcades (her favorite game is space invaders because it reminds her of home, but she is also fond of Dance Dance Revolution) -Frogs (she finds them adorable and is fascinated by the way they hop) -Puddles (she’s convinced they’re portals to her dimension, so she jumps in every one of them she sees in hopes they’ll activate) -Dogs (she’s sure they’re all powerful cosmic beings, and giving them belly rubs provides luck) Dislikes: -Grapes (she hates that they can be crunchy or squishy with no warning) -Neutral colors (she’s used to bright colors from her dimension) -Balloons (she’s suspicious that they might pop at any time) -Spiders (she finds something with so many eyes untrustworthy) ——— Backstory (I might change this idk, also sorry if this doesn’t make sense I was kinda just writing my thoughts): One day she was just walking around on her home planet doing silly lil Nyra things, and she saw a puddle. Naturally, she hopped in it. But then she was yeeted into our dimension and plopped right onto Earth. She immediately started freaking out (as anyone would do in this scenario). After a few days, though, she started to adjust. She still doesn’t understand a lot of Earthly concepts, and she’ll often misunderstand the use of certain things. She (somehow) got a job working at a pet store, where she studies Earth animals like they’re magical creatures. The longer she stays on Earth, the more she forgets about her parents and friends back in her dimension. She wants to make her way back, but is also enjoying her life/friends here.
