(Tw for, death, falling, and drowning kind of) Arachnid was tired. Age had not been something she had really thought much about 40 moons ago. But now she had succumbed to it over and over. Arachnid knew it was almost time. One more life left. And so, Arachnid decided to take a walk. Leave the camp. She limped out of the camp, avoiding putting weight on her injured leg. It was misty today. Arachnid didn't mind however. Just.. Wanted to walk. Like the way she used to. So very long ago. The mist was heavy, obscuring her view. Changing rocks that normally, she could have seen fairly well, into barely a outline. Slowly however she pushed forward. Wincing at the dull ache in her leg. She almost tripped once, on a rock sticking annoyingly out of the ground, if she had been younger she probably would have hidden it in camp somewhere for another cat to trip over. But she let it, and continued her walk to nowhere. As she walked slowly thoughts entered her mind. Where was she going? What even was her plan? Where was a clever little trick to cheat? Words to twist? Little lies to tell? Where were they? They weren't there. They were gone. Maybe they had died with some of her other lives. Maybe her plan had died with the Guild of Roses and Vineshadow. Maybe her little lies she'd told died with her sisters. Maybe her silly little tricks died with Marrowkit. Died when she was kicked out of Flurryclan. A tree lay ahead, it looked ancient and foreboding in the mist. Arachnid walked toward it, and walked past it, examining it as she walked. It looked. Dead. No leaves bringing any life to it, no. Maybe it had died a long, long time ago, and yet still was here. Interesting. More steps. She started counting them in her mind, while still watching the tree. Not seeing anything of interest ahead of her. One step, two steps, three steps, four steps, five st- . . . . . . Her paw hadn't touched earth or rock. It touched nothing but air. . . . . She tried to pull back. Too late. He injured leg wasn't strong enough. Whatever strength she once had seemed to have been sapped away. She tried to catch herself, before she fell. Twisting around to catch the side of the rock. Attempted to hold on. It didn't save her. . . . Arachnid closed her eyes. . . . She felt the air rush past her. . . And she felt her body hit the water. . . . Fell beneath them. . . . . Felt all the air leave her body. . . . . . . And. . . Finally. . . . . . . Arachnid died.
Um so I decided to kill off Arachnid early, for multiple reasons, most of which I'm not going to get into, but one of the main ones was that I just felt really stressed out whenever I was roleplaying with her. Uh so yeah, o7 Rachi Urchinclans fossil is officially gone. OH AND also her body is canonically never found
