Green flag to watch this nice animation which dives into Black History Month.
Credits: I used some sources off the Internet to gather some of the info in this video, and other pieces of info I had in my mind. My school assembly introduced this topic, as October is approaching. Notes: This is a British video, so it covers the British theme of Black History Month. Also, I myself am not black, so I don't know much from my ancestry to apply into this video. The PenguinMod version is https://studio.penguinmod.com/#7183720688 The transcript is below: Black History Month is about celebrating and respecting black people. There are many people who have contributed to this celebratory event. Some are included here, such as Martin Luther King Jr. for his major contribution to end racism in the US, Rosa Parks for being one of the main reasons behind the Civil Rights Movement, Nelson Mandela for ending the apartheid of South Africa, and Maya Angelou for writing works about how racism has shaped her life. You may be wondering about what the theme of Black History Month is this October. In the UK, it is Standing Firm in Power and Pride. This emphasises the strength, resilience and overall commitment from the black people to achieve a better future. It highlights the significance of various black people and the impacts from their actions. In conclusion, not only black people make a change. You can too, whether you are white, brown, Indian, Hispanic etc. Make a positive change for the world to see.
