My purpose in making this new version is not only to make another goofy thing, but also as a way of recognizing myself from the past. Lots of things have changed in my life, most of them for the better, since 2020. As a way of representing that through it all, I still am a silly person and have the same core values. It also represents the fact that I was always there, within myself, waiting to bloom. Maybe, in years, I will recreate this again, if scratch still exists. Maybe I will not. Either way, this project will serve as a reminder that no matter what you go through, you can get through it all and continue to do what you once loved. I believe in myself now, and I know that I can face my current struggles head-on. I have always given up, always been a coward, but not this time.

I have been using scratch for 8 years, and it has served me well. Hours of fun, frustration, torture, and hilarious amusement have gone into - and been caused by - this website. I am going to be an adult in a year, but I still feel like that 9 year old kid, sitting in class with my friends, learning how to code for the first time.
